Los Fresnos EDC is focused on strengthening our community by supporting economic growth, workforce development, and long-term opportunity. A simple goal guides our work: to help make Los Fresnos a welcoming place for families, a supportive environment for businesses, and an attractive destination for investment.
The Los Fresnos Community Development Corporation (LFCDC) is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors and operated under city leadership. Funding comes from one-half of one percent of the local sales tax and is reinvested directly into the community. These funds support projects that enhance both economic vitality and quality of life, including business development, infrastructure improvements, community events, cultural initiatives, and city promotion—helping Los Fresnos grow with purpose and pride.
Our Board of Directors and staff bring a depth of experience, professionalism, and dedication to serving the City of Los Fresnos and its residents. United by a shared commitment to resident success, the team works collaboratively to advance initiatives that support economic development, workforce growth, and an enhanced quality of life.
Through strategic planning, effective programs, and strong partnerships, the Los Fresnos EDC focuses on creating sustainable opportunities that benefit residents, local businesses, and the entire community. Each initiative is guided by a long-term vision to foster responsible growth while maintaining the values and character that make Los Fresnos a strong and connected community.

At LFEDC, we value open communication and trust. Access our agendas, minutes, reports, and governing documents to see how we plan, manage, and implement programs that benefit the city and its residents.
We believe good stewardship is public stewardship. Every project we fund and every decision we make serves the community—and the record is open for you to review. Our Board of Directors meets on the first Monday of every month, and all meetings are open to the public. Meeting dates may be adjusted for holidays—see the current schedule for details. We encourage residents to attend and stay engaged in the process that shapes our city’s future.
